Whats the joke here? she caught the train she needed to catch, and her friends laughed at her for doing it? Shouldnt she be laughing back considering her friends didnt make it on? What am I missing here?

That happened to me once. It was awesome since... i made that very same face... Im positive that the mangaka should had experienced that, otherwise you wouldnt know that. I had my friend wait after me in the next stop.
