This is one of those few shows that would be impossible to do an English dub on. It just can't be done.

二人とも面白いよ。
They actually had a battle of trolling once. It ended in a tie.
実はその２名が嫌がらせ合戦したことがあるんだけど、引き分けに終わった。

Many people leave water for days in electric tea-kettle, and personally when there is unexpected water outage I all ways firstly use water from electric tea-kettle.PS. you can all ways find water in toilet tank if there is emergency
電気ポットにお湯が残ってる家庭は多いだろうし、俺だったら予期しない断水が起こった時は、まずその水を使うね。追伸：緊急事態ならトイレの水も使えるぞ。
That PS. might also explain why the tea tasted bad as well

I don't see how people see the evidence of her being adopted? Are you referring to her being picked up from her stroller? How does that connect to adoption??Sorry, I'm confused and I want to know what people are seeing that I'm not.

It looked like a mother abandoned Mio in a stroller and her probably adoptive mother saw her and adopted her.
母親がミオをベビーカーに置き去りにして、義理母らしき人がミオを見つけて養子にしたっ。て感じに見えた。
That's called kidnapping.

To me it looks like the mother just walked to the front of the stroller to pick her up because she was crying.

やたら長い廊下だな。
I think it would've been funnier if the flashback happened after she had the first jam.
１回目のジャムで走馬灯が起きてたらもっと笑えたと思う。
I wish I had a sibling. It seems like fun!
